haha fair enough. I think the new lights go a lot better with the colour of your punto but i think the tinted lights might be better for the black car what did you use to tint them?

I used fly eye vinyl tint but I wouldnt suggest using it because its really hard to fit because of all the different angles on the lights, I would suggest using some spray tint and lacquering them after, just remember if you spray over the reflectors at the bottom of the light then it is illegal and an MOT failure.

ye i would just need to be careful not to make them too dark because it would look stupid

just spray them very lightly and see how dark they are, i think you can get it off with white spirit anyway.

If you spray over your reflectors, just buy a mk2b bumper as they have reflectors in the bumper, or just mask of the reflectors when tinting....just be careful though dont go OTT on them cause you dont want to go too dark id say a few light coats and see what you think from there if too light do some more until you get the desire look you want.

Just use tint spray much better result, if you going to do a mod do it properly ....

Nah it should be around 5-6 quid from any local.motor factors

Well anyway guys not been on in so long just having **** jobs to do to the car but looks like we are back on track got some interior stuff planned and also still need to get my beloved coupe alloys but its like running at a wall sometimes with these mods seems to be constant problems :bang:

mostly the electrics that are causing problems mate i think my sub is possibly draining my battery but im not 100% sure yet. burst exhaust will be getting fixed next tuesday and my cc door handles will need redone on one side i think but i still love everything ive done to the car hopefully get it a nice polish this weekend and get some more up to date pics

if suby is draining battery then i suggest checking the fuses for it, usually two one obviously being in the boot on the amp and one in engine bay if they look okay doesn't mean they are okay though, i helped a fellow FF member a month or so ago with his sub causing battery drain he replaced fuse and it was all happy

So do check on that.

Any other electrical faults? I'm very good with electrics its my strong point but I have enough knowledge there for mechanical too

Be good to see some new piccies of it, im always updating mine haha

• Wire to interior light
• Wire to ignition so they come on when car is turned on
• etc

Then, you have an option to wire them to a switch so you can turn t hem on and off at your choice
