Only thing is passenger side side light is broken as you can see the difference of light in the picture so I need a new bulb for that so I will most likely get new better bulbs for the whole lot aswell (y) what would be the best bulbs??

Needs tyre shine!

Accidentally disliked this very sorry I meant to click like! :bang:

Osram Nightbreaker Plus. Haven't found anything that comes close; and they always do well in tests.... (y)

PS: Really impressed with that back seat... -- may do the same...! :worship:

Thanks how much am I looking at then for a full set of them?

Thanks a lot :) the second part is half way through now as the alfa leather is being stitched together now by my brilliant grandma :D I will upload those pics when its finished :)

Last time I looked, two sets of H1s (i.e. for high and low beams...) could be had on eBay for twenty-odd quid (plus postage). :)

I need a grandma...! :(

MOT, tax and insurance all in the next month (n) so i am afraid that the only extras after that for a while until i get paid again in january will be: part 2 of the leather seats and fitting the abarth side skirts. (y) will put pictures off part 2 of the seats up when they are finished :slayer:

Hey im new on the forum and havent seen the colour coded plastics before looks really nice how did you go about doing that?

Welcome to the forum :) and colour coding the exterior plastics is pretty simple you sand the plastic down with wet and dry paper until its very smooth then prime it with primer then spray it with the colour paint of your car then lacquer you need minimum of three coats for each layer to make it look very nice and protect the paint aswell

More elbow grease then spraying time

The better you prep the bodywork - the better the end result

Ziggy

must i take all the plastics off the car before sanding to avoid scratching the pain work?

I did all mine whilst on the car other then the rear window strips as they only have two screws to hold them in, but as long as you cover up the car area you are working on with paper you will be fine but cover to extremes do not be sparing on the cover

thanks so some masking tape and news paper should do the trick :) what does wet and dry sanding mean sorry im new to this. Want to do as much as i can myself so i can learn as much as i can at the same time

Yep that will do the trick but as I said literally cover the side of the car you are working on, wet and dry sand paper is a kind of sand paper but it works best in wet conditions and gives very good results its available on internet, halfords and most diy shops
