that is a very nice car mate, love the colour, what you got planned? mk1 puntos with the abarth kit on are just tooooo nice.

body wise i am leaving it how it is as it is lush standard lol

but what i have got in mind is

1:- wheels spacers off cinq so 10.5mm rear 9mm front
2:- 1.6 16v TB of a marea (just bought today)
3:- 4-2-1 mani with sports cat
4:- re-map or superchip
5:- cam but not sure what type yet as i dont know whats available for the 16v's

i would be happy if i could get 100bhp out of it as its very nippy as is with around 85bhp

ok took my beloved punto to the dyno a couple of weeks ago and engine mods are as follows

46mm 1.6 16v marea TB
cat back SS 2inch exhaust
sports filter (badly positioned and restricting high end air flow)
stage 1 chip

it did 97.1bhp but is running rich over 4250rpm which we think is down to the airfilter position

with the airfilter sorted i should be over 100bhp (1368cc terrotry with only simple mods) and looking to go further

but in the mean time its off the road due to a leaking water pump

why is it the simplest of things can bring down the mighty lol

oh and its sitting on new wheels too oh and also fitted a brava engine cover too which looks well smart

well heres another update, finally got myself a nice straight set of coupe turbo 16s and got them fitted, there has been alot of cutting and modifying done but got them on with the 205/50r16's and there is no rubbing

Lovely looking Punto, I think you need some soap and a sponge though.

lol blu yeah i think i would be shot if i started changing panels lol
lol raw yeah the problem is my drive lol i wash it go out and then when i get home its just as bad again lol

as for the wheels i still have them

future plans are a little in limbo at the mo as she might be up for sale in april as i might be buying a race car and this wont tow a car trailer, if i do sell her the black wheels will be going back on and i will be keeping the coup 16's for my replacment tow donkey lol
