Hi :)

Been Meaning to sort the god awful standard sound quality in the grande punto for ages!

My plan is to replace the fronts with alpine sxe-1725s 6.5" speakers

Change the standard HU for a kenwood KDC-BT42U and a stalk adaptor for the wheel controls, was a bit shocked at the cost (£40)

I have some kenwood speakers that might replace the rear ones but I might take the feed from the rear speakers and send it to some 6x9" infinity's on the parcel shelf, my parcel shelf rattles a bit so the weight of them will cure that! LOL

What do you think? I bought the alpine's specifically for the car, haven't bought the HU yet but it gets a great review and does everything I want.

Thanks for reading :)

That sounds cool ive got a kenwood hu in but didnt want the button controls as hardly used em! Im running fli components and alpine 6x9's running through the rear speaker connectors (didnt bother with rear speakers) but you get quailty sound when set up right

Nice one so similar to my plan :) yeah the rear speakers are shocking, just gunna leave them in but with no feed to them.

I'm just a bit worried about rattles, already got a bit from the door cards with a bit of bass, hopefully I can find out why they're rattle and sort it while I'm fitting the door speakers :)

Haha I left the speaker grills or but put the original ones in place (no idea how to custom make pods) subtle mod plus when the sun hit it makes em look kinda cool hid away :p its worth investin in soundproof think its £24.99 for vibe from halfords
