Grande Punto My Grey Grande Punto Sport.

Introduction

Thought id start a new thread as ive changed lots of small things and lost track of it all, but basically im back where i started :p

this is how it is now

At the moment its on fk coilovers (which im really surprised at how well they perform) about 65mm drop all round
i think the rears need spacing about 10-15mm and then drop the front to 75/80

Went for 16's a while back but looked horrible so went back to the 17 dezent motions (looking for a trade with 15 spoke sporting wheels if anyones interessted?)

Engine is standard apart from a K&N panel filter. no point wasting money on the engine as i wont get any more power :(

Also changed alot of audio, now ive got:
Rockford Fosgate P1652-S 16.5cm Front Comps
Rockford Fosgate P400-4 Amp - Powering the speakers so i dont need a HU
and a Vibe 1600w Black air box in the boot
It now sounds very nice, quality speakers for vocals and good for bass (y) really do rate rockford stuff :)

Future Plans:
Adjust Suspension
Rear wheels Spacered
17" 15 Spoke fiat alloys

thats all, Any comments/suggestions welcome
Wow, thats looks awesome pal, good work! and about the camber adjustment, i was running FK AK street beasts on my t-jet and yea they do have larger holes on the strut where it bolts to the hub, go for serious adjustment if you wish lol

Hey, Nice looking car!
Cars like this make me wish I had a 3 door haha. atm its the only thing making me want to sell mine and try and get my hands on a 1.3 M-jet (would go for the sporting but insurance sucks :( )

I noticed a few weeks ago you mentioned Peter from GSR delivering you a Induction kit? How did you get hold of him? PM me the details if you want :)
Cheers
Tom

IMHO, I would send the K&N back and save your money,
where you position the filter on a GP is right in a "Heat sink" and it just sucks in hot air. Dont get me wrong the actual cone is good quailty but its where its positioned is completly wrong. Save up and get your self a GSR kit from the Illustrious Peter...(who i still havnt got in contact with)

Or better yet make your own from off the shelf silicone hoses

if I could get the dimensions of the GSR kit from someone who has one, then I would. I know a few places that sell decent quality silicone hoses on the cheap.

if you plan where you want it to run and measure the angles, even use some empty bog roll tubes to help get the angles, use reducers to get from the intake size to atleast 80-100mm opening for the filter on the end

Luckily.... I am in the process of closing a deal with FiatSue on the GSR listed in the classifieds :D
No super glue and bodge tape holding together my GSR :D:D:D

any opinions on a refurb?
3 options so far...
1. keep as are and touch up
2. paint centre satin black
3. do the whole lot in mercedes titanium

what do you think?

Look ok as they are TBH.

But if you are planning on going for a referb I would go for mercedes titanium or a similar tone as the wheels do look sort of lost in the black.
very nice though(y)

hey is there some form of an adaptor to fit those alloys to a punto? cos i thought grandes where 4 stud?

also i would be interested in your old alloys if you sell them, the ones that came with your car that you are using for winter :)

Im definitely being drawn to the all in titanium, think the strip makes them look abit old?
