shame to hear about the keying incident, hate some peoples mentalities.

car looks outstanding though, really a bog fan of the wheels on that, cant believe i hadnt seen it on here yet!

Thanks, I'm still loving the wheels! They need a clean though. The keying incident has put me off working on the car for a bit but I'll be back next year with some updates. (y)

Nicest APE ive seen. Sorry about they keying dude. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Thanks.

Just caught up with this thread, not looked at it for a while, then I saw your wheels advertised and thought I better catch up!
Sorry to hear about the pikey scum bag and the case of the key attack. :(
Just be glad you dont live near me, some dude in Spalding the other day got boxed into a car parking space by 4 cars (1 parked next to him and 3 turned up) and had his car smashed to bits with golf clubs and had all of his electrical goods stolen and a £4000 engagement ring from the glove box of his 61 reg Audi S3. All because it was new and expensive! :(

This world makes me sick.

Nothing as regards CCTV or liability in the public/work car park? (check for "you park here at your own risk" signs)

Love the car though man, Taking it to the roots with campavolo (correct spelling?).

Much love
Tom

Holy $h*t!! Makes my little scrape seem insignificant!! Some people are scumbags!

I'm finally gonna get my scratch looked at some by some local guys and see if they can make it less obvious. Only £30 which is great.

Really nice car mate, think i have seen it in the city a few times, if not this one, very much the same.

Gutted to hear what happened tho, cant have anything nice can we.

Its Lincolnshire for ya, they cant afford it and they want it, get jelous and smash it up.
Quite often see scantilly clad 14 year olds posing on the bonnet or roof of some of the cars down my street.
The bloke across the road just sold his Aston Martin Vantage and Bought a JDM Nissan GTR R35 fresh off the production line! SO SO SO SO nice! But he has 8 foot gates with nasty points on top mixed with anti-vandle paint.

Hope the scratch dissapears soon :)

Cheers
Tom

I live right in the centre of Norwich so I'm often driving around that area! What's your motor? I'll keep and eye out for you (y)

But as the clutch decided to die and i cant really afford the flywheel right at the moment, i thought it was a good idea to put the Hgt back on the road, had it about 2 years now

If you see me, give me a wave.

Lovely car mate :)!! Hopefully be able to see it at auto Italia this year!

I'll be there(y)

Right I need your opinions guys and girls:

As my car was vandalised not so long ago I need to start thinking about getting the paintwork sorted. I can either get the affected panels resprayed at great cost or vinyl wrap the car. I fancy going matte in either yellow or red (see pics below). What do you think would suit the car best. Other ideas are welcome.

Back in the day Abarth's colour was orange, maybe thats something to think about :)! Or maybe do something that ties in with the Italian flag, and can get red, white maybe try a nice lime green colour :)! All ideas...

Matt red!!!!! Especially with those black wheels! But get the black bumper bits done in gloss/flat white to contrast ;)

Tom

Not liking the white idea TBH, I'm going to stick two colours on this car. The body colour and the black wheels, indicators, wing mirrors and roof (coming soon).

I like orange, my GP was orange. Flag sounds a bit fussy. I want it to look factory cool, not overly modded.

Didn't think of that lol.

I like the idea of the flag, maybe roof bonnet and boot one colour, one side another and the other side the other colour? And leave the bumpers white

Dom

Same as above, too fussy to work. Keep it simple, it's hard to f**k it up then! (y)
