Grande Punto My GP Sporting 1.4 16v

Introduction

So got this back in February just been busy with uni.
Got a list of stuff to do to it just insurance cost dependent right enough.
So.....
Coilover Kit to lower it. Probably just JOM kit off ebay ebiach ones seem a bit steep
Front bumper splitter
GSR induction kit. From what i have read its the best you can get fr a GP.
Remap. This is the last thing i will be doing as its not a cheap one
Parcel shelf speakers. Suggestions of where to get this done would be ideal....I stay in scotland so if anyone knows that would be great.

I have already added a custom built cat back exhaust which sound great and had my windows and lights tinted curtsy of Simons Custom exhausts and Scottint. Dont have pictures of them just yet will hopefully get some up soon.

Don't know whether to get white alloys and the white GP vinyl stickers. Or if mudflaps would be a good idea either.

All suggestions are welcome.

Any how thats my wee baby atm

Love the D. FLEMING on the window, that's a nice touch

Looks nice mate

White alloys look immense on black puntos! Once lowered though. I currently have the JOM coils so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Also, parcel shelf speakers are really not all they are cracked up to be. Some decent front door speakers and a sub will far outweigh parcel shelf speakers (6x9s). Even without the sub, the front speakers can sound excellent.

In my opinion, I would avoid white gp stickers. Less is more when it comes to vinyls from my point of view.

Who you insured with?

Got insurance with endsleigh atm....Its student cover cheapest i could find but not got the mods declared yet currently in talks with them to get a price for it think its £1250 but monthly its £131. I heard that if you want the most from an sub though that i would have to change the radio to allow a port for the sub as the stock radion doesnt have one.....if done with the normal stock radio its just soldered onto the rear speaker cables and doesnt have the same bass output. I agree with the amplifier though. Defo planning on geting one and hooking up all the speakers in the car to it. Heard that if this is done it improves sound and volume by around 15%.
How is the JOM kit, whats the ride like. Been told its a bit bumpy compared to most.

Ah yeah i see what you mean mate, though you could get a cheap stereo. My stock speakers sounded much better with a different stereo.

Yeah it is bumpy! Pure and simple, only way I can describe it haha. You will notice bumps you never knew existed. Speed bumps are ok, as long as you slow down. No other issues so far :)

Does putting the front coilovers in remove your spring mounts btw? They seem to be a common fault in GPs?

I am sure i will get used to thye bumps haha:)
