Im thinking of buying a abarth front bumper for my punto but smooth the hole above where the numberplate should go? What do you guys think? abarth over my smoothed bumper?

Thats a tough one mate I really like the one thats on it now but i do like the abarth one not sure what a smooth one looks like though

meh, tricky on indeed.. I love the abarth bumpers but i reckon your bumper is well nice - i'd be tempted to fit a splitter to your current bumper tbh.

well, Im backing up blu73 on this one, I belive a splitter would set it off.

I like the abarth bumper, but I thnk your car would lose its "uniqueness" if you ware to tuck off the sporting bumper!

Got the leather seats fully fitted now. What a nightmare that was!. Had to make a few brackets and longer bolts but well worth it!. Just need to wire the front seat heater elements. Positive and Negative with a 35 fuse.What do you guys think of my tan seats? Got either the door cards going black or may get them in the same leather as the seats. My center console is now black with a smooth surface finish, instead of the factory silver with texture effect to match the dash

Started smoothing my other rear bumper today. Took my a few hours but got it 80% there. Just got the underside to do where the numberplate light goes to fill and sand.

Liking the seats very much
I find, if the passenger moves the seat too far to the front it gets in the way of the gearstick so I try n stop them haha
Other than that I love them
Did you get all of the rear seats done now?

Yup rear seats are in. Just need to wire the front heater elements. Thats the seats done. Got to change my floor mats now lol. As there is a blue trim around them and my seats are now tan :bang:

Could you not get away with dabbing some black paint into the blue fabric on the mats? Would save having to buy new mats

It depends on what material the blue is...think a black marker might be best bet lol

Yeah, some mk2b's have black door cards, I got mine from a mk2b active sport...

Well my smooth bumper is getting there. Started on the numberplate part. Really tricky to get the filler smooth and sand. Couple more coats and should be sorted. Might exchange the standard Punto rear light to white led strip. But not very sure yet. Im also thinking removing the bullet mirrors and putting on the standard mirrors. As the bullet mirrors... really are useless. More show than usable.

Few people were pit confused about the number plate part here is a pic

don't use a LED strip, they never light the plate up properly and just look rubbish IMO

I tie dyed a tshirt before and It dident come out. So it shouldent. Its wort a try as the die is very cheap.

Well awaiting my new rear tires 185/45/15 instead of 195/50/15. Should sort the scrubbing with little stretch on the rear. Allowing me to lower the rear back to the 50mm drop. Arches will be sorted according to the new tires. Petrol flap finger recess will be smoothed also. And tailgate de-locked. Hopefully before the Italian car show.

Well need to decide about this exhaust. As ive started smoothing a other rear sporting bumper. Either to keep the exhaust as it is. Or get the tip removed down tip welded on so its hidden behind the rear bumper but still has a bit of a sporting noise?

I prefer the hidden exhaust tbh
Either way it looks nice though
