is there supposed to be a little filter breather thing half way down the pipe? Im just curious as nobody has mentioned it and that could be the issue.

Seis all seem to have them, Cinqs don't. I've binned them with no ill effect. Check the rubber bits on either end of the rigid pipe (must be rigid vacuum pipe) for rotting/splitting, etc. Also the small section of the engine breather pipe.

the pipe seems fine. I'll double check tomorrow. If its good then I'll just grab a new MAP Sensor.
