yes that really is a stilo!! I met the owner last year and he told me about Gir-acc and their club, so that's why i went to visit the shop this year.

I didn't see the stilo this year because the owner had an accident (not with the stilo btw) and for as far as i could understand he died. :( (but i'm not shure they didn't really speak english over there) They only use the car for shows now.

i bought a new steering wheel at Stroeve Motorsport:slayer:

hey man , greatings from bulgaria - great ride u have! i`m just wondering , if i`m not mistaking your bravo is 1.4 12v , haven`t you experienced any problems with 17" rims. I have Bravo 1.6 16v with 16" and i can feel the lack of power when i accelerate.

many people say similar things, and i've experienced the same problems myself more than once. its harder to turn a bigger wheel so the engine will struggle to accelerate the car as quickly. on a 1.4 or 1.2 bravo you have limited performance to start off with, so sticking big wheels on isnt a good idea imo, unless you dont care about performance.

the less power (torque is more important actually) your engine has the more noticable the loss of acceleration is. i've got a 1.8 but i'd still be unwilling to fit anything larger than 16", and even 16s would have to be fitted with 45 profile tyres or less. i've got 15s with 50 profile tyres, so the overall diameter is smaller than the standard tyres, making it easier for the engine. boyracers may laugh at my tiny wheels, but they soon stop smiling when they get left behind :D

big wheels look good, but you have to get the right balance between style and performance. some people prefer style, personally i prefer performance, but we're all different.
