My Bravo is a total bucket - pls help

My Bravo had been experience yet more problems with the revs dropping and increasing and generally not driving very well until not long ago it cut out completely and hasnt restarted since The engine turns on ignition but all that happens is a slight pop from the exhaust and no firing. pls help as i have just spent money lowering and exhausting my once grat car.

The jumping revs could be caused by faulty ICV (idle control valve).
The non starting I dont know exactly - does the key light on the dash go out ?
