Honest question though mate are you disheartend now after getting them figures especially with the time and money you put into it?

yeah im half and half really i mean im kinda happy and pissed!

what i think i need to do is race a standard tjet to see the difference maybe ill feel happier but really im thinking of the next car right now the gps is no where near fast enough really and before kids come alone and destroy the wallet i wanna get that fast car :yum:

Next thing you could do if you really wanted to spend the money is get the Salbet Seats for looks and -10KG!

I have not seen many T-Jets around this area, I used to have one but I traded and brought the Abarth 2nd hand.

Let me know if you interested in a PM, just some nice pin it in 2nd down the start of the A414? The other bloke from harlow can come along as well if he wants?

i am thinking of new discs and pads as mine will need changing before the years out but brembos are just so freaking expensive theyll eat into my rx8 budget :devil:

i will take a look at those seats though try and cut some more weight out!, ive never even seen an abarth grande before funny your quite close by!

the 231 rx8 as theyre at really good prices nowadays 7-8000 gets you 25k on the clock and a few toys and dealership stamps which as that engines different is important to me!

and if i get it ill be putting aside a fair chunk of cash to properly modify it bodykit new paint decent exhaust induction etc. and maybe...




....turbocharging the car is pushed pretty high tuning wise as standard but force induction have shown big results and most importantly hasnt taken much away from the realiability :slayer:

but thats if things go to plan if i get a flat ill prob just end up keeping the punto but i really want to before kids come along get a rear wheel drive coupe and that high revving rotary engine just always catches my ears when i see one fly by

My mates dad has an Rx-8 they are very nice cars, definatly worth upgrading from a GP This is the step forward, goodluck with finding the money Should get a bit for your GP though.

Well you can get some "covers" from e-bay! as yes the full Brembo kiy is about £1,300 for the full set I think.

The Salbet seats are £1,500 btw, there is a set on e-bay atm if your interested in just having a look. Just search Grande Punto Abarth.

It is totally standard, and I dont know if I am going to do anything to it just yet, wish to keep it for a long while! You probably have not seen it because I only got it a few weeks ago and have been in Edinburgh for a few more weeks with work, only popping back at weekends.

It was in harlow this Sunday, down at the Cinema infront of the Sony shop. As I said before had a Black T-Jet for nearly a year from new, that was standard as well.

So what you think about this weekend? Could see my Abarth as well, either have to do it early Saturday morning, say 9-10am or early Sunday morning as I have to be in Ware at 1pm and have other bits to do as well.

And Rawb, As James says im sure you get a better insurance price, although he does live in Harlow which does him no favours, and I have a "London" postcode even though I live outside of the M25 which slaughters me.

Going to have 4 yrs NCB this yr, expecting a quote of around £700-800 for myself + the gf, and it renews the day after im 25!

i dont see many about really i saw a white one with what i think was the veilside bodykit with a black vented bonnet and black oz looking alloys and hed changed the exhaust it sounded sweeeett!

another car id love to own is the classic supra 2jz but theyll be so old by the time insurance allows, a guy up the road from me has one bodykit nice paint job etc. i think that one has the single turbo conversion to it hmm :yum:

yeah as i said the rx8s with say 40k on the clock are cheaper than i see tjets so i shouldnt need to much more, i should get a good price for mine if someone appreciates the effort and care gne into her really she needs a name but ive never named a car before lol

modify! do it! better to do it sooner and enjoy it longer, aslong as you get a conservative map itll still be realiable as mate!

them seats are well expensive lol better spending that on power than the weight saving theyll give, why is everything so freaking expensive nowdays

yeah harlow insurance is stupid ive only got the 1year ncb as i swapped twice half way threw the year with my previous insurers so this year will be another 1200 :bang: not as bad as it was when i first got the car though..

Also if you have never seen an Abarth before, part of you might wish to take all the extra's off your car and then buy an Abarth and attach them all again!

The interior is nicer than the Sporting and the seats are lovely!

Prob because Abarth is a group 15D as it does not meet security requirements, otherwise it would be a lower group.

Although I thought the 231 RX8 is a group 19? or there abouts?

lol exactly thats my point its completely different to drive! rear wheel drive balanced chassis in a sexy coupe against a front wheel drive hatchback dont get me wrong the gps is the best in its class but its not a sports coupe!
