ok guys basically for all u guys that have a usb interface on your head units to plug MP3 players into here is a great tip go to a pc shop and bye an external pc usb interface harddrive hook it up to ure computer loade every single mp3 u have on it the plug it into ure head unit thats it but if u bye a 350 gig external harddrive u will on avaredge be able to have exactly 2.226.000 songs in ure car yes thats right over 2 MILLION and u can even get 500 gig hardrives to use if uve got the money. and for those of u that dont have a usb interface on ure head units u can bye a a head unit that does from argos for 80 quid if ure on a low ice budget.

But how many people have over 2 million tracks?
It's a good idea, but TBH I see little advantage of doing this over spending the money on a better quality mp3 HU.

also how are you navigating these? even going into a basic folder tree layout its a bit of a mare if theres no playlist type feature?
one of the reasons i fancied the new JVC dvd HU's was the DVD music disc feature

its surely just as easy to use the ipod/mp3 player aux in? you can set up playlists etc and just plug and play.

and with the 20gb portable thing I have I could FG it into the dash with LED's lighting it up...
