I wasnt sure about the mud flaps at first but they do look good now they are on justshould have really had a chrome 500 on them and it would have finished them off.

an the a bar and bonnet strip i feel are a must add for all 500's (y)

Liking the additions, if you don't mind me asking was it easy to have the extra chrome added and did it cost any more/less than having the car built with them.

The flaps do seem to be making a difference not using the back wash as much as i was doing now lol...

as for the price i got the parts at cost and then it was £160 to have them fitted (felt this was very expensive but what the hell i wanted them lol)

only problem with dealer fit is you have to leave the a bar for 48hrs to dry and 12hrs for the strip so i was without my beloved 500 for a whole 2 days felt lost without her lol...

It would probably have been cheaper to get them factory fitted but iwasnt sure i wanted them until i saw them in the flesh and when i did they were a must have.:slayer:

Thanks

I think these cars are so emotive that cost considerations are an afterthought and quite rightly so :)

Don't have it yet....

can't wait though and seeing your pics just teases me :( but it reminds me of how well the jive looks :)

Great to see some more pics of your car... I am getting so used to seeing white ones (but of course i have one too!) - it makes a change!

Yours looks very retro (cute), especially as it is Sport. Job well done(y)
Like it.

i know how that feels i was the same when mark put his pics up i was well jealous but now i have my baby and i love her to bits, and you will soon have yours and will feel the same about her/him (y)

just need to decide now if i want a fragrance dispenser or not oh and a boot tidy lol...

Oh and by the way i totaly recommend that ppl but the security kit for the 500 its well worth the £20 you get triangle, torch, reflective jacket and a set of bulbs (y)(y)

Thanks for the piccies of the mudflaps!! How much are they and did the garage fit them? Think I'm going to have to get them.
Think your car looks great, love the new chrome bits but not sure they would look so good on the yellow. And I see another one with cherished plates :) seems like alot of us are getting them ;)

the flaps were about £28 straight from the dealer and i got the to fit them the same time as the chrome bits, i think they said if it was just the flaps on their own then it would be about an hours labour, thought it was best getting them done at the dealer and getting them to stamp my book as they drill the body and i wanted to preserve my warrenty
