'99 Punto mk. II 1,2 16v Sporting.
Retrofittet turbocharger with the following components:
Engine:
Fully rebuild original 1,2 16v (80 bhp) with JE forged oversize Pistons with 9:1 compression, steel head gasket and inlet manifold with 4 ekstra injectors controlled by a Perfectpower SMT6 piggyback with an extra boost capable MAP sensor. Intercooler front-mounted. Exhaust: Hand build 2" stainless steel downpipe and all the way back to a 1747 HGT back box. No cat or mid silencer.
First fit was a Garrett T2 turbo, but was converted to a Garrett T25. Boost pressure 0,4 bar in eco mode, and now 0,9 bar in powermode. With the T2 the result was 130 hp and 205 nm, and now with the T25 - 160 hp and 230 nm.
