Panda (Classic) My 4x4 - The Muddy Pics!

Introduction

Hey everyone as I've only just joined I thought I'd post some more pictures to show you lovely lot what we're all about up here in the bleak North.

Both me and my mate have Pandas, mine's the '87 and his the '89, both Italian Racing Grey.

As I've previously said, although we put the Pandas through their paces we take good care of the old lasses because we want the fun to keep coming.

I hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoy making them! :D

Some of these pics are from a while ago, I'll get some new ones up soon :)
Ah - you'll know all about how to spend money on vehicles then! I must say the Surfs are very well spec'd though :)
@Liquid Knight it's Uni tunes for me - back int day lad, gotta love 'em you must have equally as good taste :slayer::D

The X or G specs were the best, but, whichever you have, it does pay to NOT get your rad full of mud turning it into a big brick :bang::cry: (can you see a hint here, keep it clean)

Oh man, epic mistake - I suppose whoever does that to their car must expect it to be be bigtime on the error scale, I mean, what kind of idiot must they be, who would do that really, I mean REALLY... :p

I didn't realise until I was whizzing back eastwards on the A303 from the Plains in the fast lane.

I let her cool down and was able to drive her back at a slower speed, but the bearings were slowly keeling over.

Several months later it died on the slip between the M25 and the M23.

Afterwards I joined the darkside (I got a Panda)

Shortly I will be going back to being diseasel powered :D

The more basic the Hi-Lux the better it is. The Smurf and other hi-spec' models are crap off road, weigh three Tons, about as reliable as FSO Pollinez rotary and rust like late 70's Lancias.

Leftism was one of the three first albums I bought. The other two were Goldie - Timeless and Massive Attack - Blue Lines. :slayer:

You were lucky it didn't drop its guts earlier, mind you it was a jap machine and hilux's are legendary for being hardcore - bet it was good off road.

Why on earth would you want to be changing from Panda power?!

I changed from Panda power 2 1/2 year ago, got a Bravo then, but have had a chance of getting my paws on a big cat :D

My smurf was reliable until I over abused it :bang:

She coped well with offroad playing - green lanes and Salisbury Plain :D

I had a basic two liter petrol Hi-Lux from a farmer. It had been in his barn so long it had verdigris throughout the loom. I tidied up the body and sold the truck to a mate after he binned his Lex-arse LS400. No need to guess where the V8 went. ;)

The LS donor was converted to manual using a Supra gearbox. When he had a go a drifting he wrote it off and the Hipraus is a rear wheel drive, slammed and decked quarter mile queen using the Supra box and welded Hi-Lux axle.

He's building a MR2 Turbo "for driftin' " next so I'm semi-looking for a Rav4 to build into a Paris Dakar inspired road rocket. ;)

Yes we can't be having it look like a halfrauds special!

i will save the bar for you it'll be like a suburban mud basher :D

The lexus v8 powered surf sounds a quality idea, it would be sweet putting one in the Panda - you'd have to drive from the back seat though as half on the engine would be in the cab, like hightower off police academy!

A forgotten pic...

Just remembered about this today and thought I should share it with you all...

Last year we went to the Harewood House Drive-In Movie in the Panda as it was The Italian Job - though I'd best hold it up for the Italian cars against the countless Minis that were there. Along side us were a handful of Alfas and the odd Lancia, we were the only ones to get mentioned on the local radio though :D

Congrats! :) My epic mileage moment was when I was scrapping my old 1984 white fiat regata 100S. The mileage is in kilometers not miles, but still impressive:)
