Hey guys, I have a V reg 1.2 Punto and have just had a Mutant HU installed by an authorised Mutant dealer. However since install my battery has been draining overnight, needing me to jump start. I removed it and my battery has stayed fully charged since then.

The guys at the shop said it was just something to do with fiats only having one line and it's always live. Does this sound right? I had a Panasonic stereo in before and never had a problem...

Thanks guys

Haha what noobs they should know what the current draw is with the fascia off. Tell them to sort it out if they installed it. They will need to wire the ignition on the Head unit to the ignition of the car with an inline fuse.

They were saying how they can't do that on a Fiat :S
They also said it could be a faulty HU as I bought it off ebay, but it was off a FF member so it wasn't a completely random buy.
If I go back and they say they can't do it I'm going to get my money back and go to somewhere else I think.

Im sure the guys in the punto section will be able to walk through how to do it with you.
There may be a guide in one of the Guide sections. Its pretty much the same process for any Fiat.
