Hi,

My 02 jtd, has no power when started from cold, which makes pulling away from a standing start painful and very slow (as if the choke ain't on).

Once its warm its a bit better, but the power band between 1500-2500 is weak then comes in around 2500-3000, anybody any ideas as I changed the air intake sensor thingy and it seemed a bit better but not from cold, its messing with my head now! Help!

If you have changed the MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor then your ECU will need to re-learn all the fuel/air settings again, you should find that after driving for 100 miles or so the engine will become more and more smooth and responsive.

You may have been OK cleaning the MAF as I did, see my post: Cleaning MAF sensor.
