Last week I needed to change the front bush on the front nearside wishbone, it was only £10, the other one (the aluminium one) costs about £20, I didn't need that one, It's an easy job to do, first take the wheel off, the car should be supported in such a way that you have easy access to the four bolts that hold the bushes on, you'll need to remove the ball joint, easy done by taking out the pinch bolt and braying it with a hammer, I never use wedge type ball joint splitters as they destroy the rubber boot, but if you have a screw type splitter it shoud be fine. So it's just a case of removing the wishbone after taking out the four bolts and ball joint, I jacked the suspension up a bit to assist removal putting the jack under the disc with a rubber pad and easing it up a bit. With the wishbone out I found that the outer part of the bush was easy to slide off and I needed to cut the inner part of the bush with my angle grinder and prise it off, then I tapped the new bush in place and put it back together nice and tight. It now has an MOT.
