Technical multipla engine

Been having difficulties with my flying frog (2000 105 19jtd) engine loses power slightyly then picks up again,also now engine revs up without me foot on pedal then returns to normal when i press pedal some have suggested egr could any one post picture of such.Is it hard to change timimg belt have done auxiliary belts before.
Please help
