Hi everyone I'm hoping someone can help me with an intermittent problem I have on my 2013 multijet 130. Every so often the engine seems to cut out for a second followed by a cloud of bluey/white smoke and then it recovers and drives fine for a while. I have also noticed that I have a small amount of black smoke all the time whilst driving. After the event with the engine cutting out sometimes the engine warning light comes on. I've plugged in my OBD which is saying the fault is with the fuel pressure regulator but the engine warning light doesn't always come on and also when it does the engine seems to go in to "limp" mode and although the engine revs pick up the engine has no power.
I was going to change the fuel pressure regulator but can't find where to locate it. Can anyone help and how difficult a job is it.
One other thing the EGR valve was sticking (fault code on OBD) so I want to take it apart to clean it but again can't find where it is located.
Any advise would be welcome
Thanks
