Technical Mraea weekend 20v

HELLO , MY MAREA WEEKEND 20V SOUNDS LIKE ITS MISFIRING ON ONE POT ,IV RENEWED ONE OF THE COIL LEADS FOR POT No2,WHEN ITS REVVED IT SOUNDS OK OR DO THEY SOUND LIKE THAT COS IV HAD ONLY STRAIGHT 4'S OVER THE YEARS , IT STILL GOES LIKE BUGGERIE THO - CAN ANYONE OFFER ANY ADVICE PLEASE.
PLUGS ARE A OK AND ALL COIL LEADS ARE KOSHA IF THAT HELPS,I BUT IV NOT CHECKED FOR A SPARK ON THE NEW COIL PLUG.......

When you say that it sounds okay when revved. You mean you only notice the misfire sound at idle?

Although the 20V engines have a very distinct idle burble.

mmmm, at a push id love to say its the distinct 20v burble, but i still think its misfiring, but again iv had straight 4's for years and they just purr quietly unless misfiring then lumpy as buggery , we went out tonight and when i was outside the car with the engine running it sounds peachy but i think it sounds different when inside the car , are there any tests you can suggest please Beast??
