I'm boring and never play fuel light roulette.
It costs so much more out here than in town I always fill up when I'm down to the last 1/4 of the tank. The closest I came to it was in the snow and that was only because the fuel stations were out of diesel. Even then the tank never got so low the light came on.

See, this is another reason I got fed up of living in Ellon and moved back home.

If I was running on fumes I was better of playing roulette, aiming for Peterhead and seeing how far I got. And that's with living almost directly across the road from the BP station. Must have fuelled up there twice in my entire two year stay in the town.

Must be due a refuel again on Monday...never noticed but my nice new-ish front tyres have punctures. I'm certain due to the potholes. Whether they're slow or not remains to be seen...bah!

Ouch... they the tyres you got in Perth with Craig??
As for bleep bleep pot holes.... I'm sick of the ***king things & South Ayrshire councill do SFA about it.

Yes, the very same. Noticed they were looking a 'bit soft' at work yesterday. 8PSI each.

Raging doesn't describe it. The road to work, the main A90, is a ****ing disgrace. I know that we've just had a harsh winter, but they never fixed the road properly after the last one, and I can't remember seeing any stretch of it being resurfaced in the 5 years I've used that road!

if you think the A90 is bad you should try the back roads - it's like driving over rubble. I won't go that way now and have been using the A90 instead. It's not brilliant I agree and I stay out of the lh lane on the dual carriageway heading south from Ellon as much as possible only using it when someone catches me. However it's brilliant compared to my old route and there appears to be less traffic than I remember.

47 liter fill up... £60 on the dot :-( my wallet is hurting lately... coming on to 6k in the bravo in less than 14days lol i need to stop dribing lol. still getting a steady 440miles to a tank of 47-50liters :).

(edit- and yes the smart ones can work out my petrol costs in th elast 14days .... £60 = 440 miles. total your aiming for is 5789 miles.... time for aloan)

Foveran to Newmachar (a regular route I use) can be fun.

The other Friday, with that accident at Mill of Mundurno, met a number of cars fleeing on blissfully unaware of the state of the road.

TBH ah don't really want to be playing fuel light roulette with the BM, but that's the second tank av had it down to 1 mile. Used 5/8th's of a tank over the weekend so expecting to be a two fill month :hang2:

my sei has a average of 46... and many of it wa 55+ on the mpg. but i did have a few right footed tanks at less than 20mpg :)

Wow that's pretty good... reckon on a long run like coming down to you're house or St Andrew's & back it would have a pretty good MPG.
