ahh was just thinking figures were low for a diesel :D

haha yeah you have to rev it to get anywhere...although it makes a good noise, even with a blowing exhaust (which could also be contributing to lower mpg???) the hole is near the manifold rather than the back box.

Onlything "Multijet" about it is the multijet badge on the front grille, sanded and painted as an italian flag ;)

Well, when the mid-section on my original one started blowing I used that as an excuse to get a custom cat-back system. Though saying that, it's started blowing (again) from just ahead of the flexi. Easy fix if Fiat hadn't discontinued the gasket that fits between the mani and the mid-section pipe :/

First place I went to look a month or 2 back, but nowt apart from a 1.6 iirc. Went to Fiat directly first, they said the gasket didn't exist. Went to an auto-parts place who also didn't have one listed. Found one on a parts site, but it had a number to call to enquire about ordering, which usually means they also have bugger all.

The one that was on there was basically just a crap o-ring style one with a bit of worn rubber round it. The proper one should be the template gasket style. If my search falls short, I'll probably just try making one myself somehow or using the entire world reserves of exhaust gum stuff.

Looks the similar to the 1.6 one I had seen on the bay but I guess the universal nature of it could be a better option as I can maybe adapt it easier if I need to. Plus for the money, it looks decent enough for a punt. I'll add it to my watch list but I'm going to email 247parts and see if they've got anything in stock or if they can find this incredibly rare part :p

could be, alot of the gaskets are used on other cars so although you can't get one for a 1.2 stilo you might be able to get one for a VW etc that is identical

thats a different one, used on some smaller fiat engines, looks very possible :)

Yeah, looks like a possible too. I've emailed the previous linked to company to see if they have anything more suitable or can check their system to see if it'll fit mine. My mate Ally had suggested just cutting a bit of cardboard to size and using that at the time of plugging it up on the last occasion we were trying to sort it, may well do something similar should this search fail :D
