So people with the petrol cost`s who`s driving more eco ??
me and matt went down to wales yesterday ... to pick something up :D

we worked out on the way down i was avergring OVER 50 mpg :D

so whats every one esle getting?

With my heavy right foot and a 2.2 i-CTDI I average 35 around town lol :( kind of defeats the purpose of having a diesel? but the torque is just too much fun to say no to!

GP 1.6 Mjet Sporting and getting 45-48 mpg dependent on traffic and whether or not I get to put my foot down. I drive mostly A and B roads with some in town driving.

This is the sort of thing fuelly.com was set up for  yes it's a bit anal getting a receipt an tracking your miles per fill, but answers this question great an gives true perspective to the mpg question before buying a new motor.

my fuel consumption is good atm, only put in £23 so far this year, still got over 2/3 of a tank, admitedly only done about 95 miles so far on it which given a bit of room for the inacurate fuel gauge probably means i could get about 340-350 miles out of this tankful from brim to fumes. not to bad tbh. it's a small fuel tank :p

60mpg on long hauls to likes of newcastle which mrc will vouch and around 45mpg around with the remap

Mines constantly runs on fumes lol, likely be filling up again tomorrow if ah can't get home either that it'll be fumes till next monday.

tbh ah made an arse of my first attempt at fuelly, got the hang of it now. Still keep a written record tho, how sad :ROFLMAO:

i signed up for it the other day also so i will find out how i get on when i eventualy have to fill up :D not had to since end of november :D

Be good to see another FS member on there, plenty of FF member on now. tbh the pug was about a monthly fill and as details only show after the third fill it took a while.

So Rich, do I just sign up for this Fuley thing? & keep recipts??

I've no idea wht MPG I get, All I know is when my milage is about 200 since last fill I start thinking about filling up.
Need to sort the fuel gauge out.

What doesn't help me is the numerous different speed limit's I have to go through 5 days a week, (work & home).
In order they are:
1) 20MPH through the top of the village,
2) 30MPH through the outer edges of the village,
3) 60MPH on the South Exit from the Village,
4) 50MPH on the first bit of the A77
5) 70MPH along the rest of the A77
6) 50MPH on the approach to the Whitletts Roundabout in Ayr
7) 60MPH along the single carrigeway between Whitletts Roundabout & Holmston Roundabout
8) 30MPH along Holmston Road
9) 30MPH along Castlehill Road
10) 10MPH in work's carpark

so basicly, what you're saying is you're average driving speeds are identical to everyone elses? :D
