Technical Moving steering

Hi guys,
when I lift up my steering wheel or push it down there is a slight movement. This becomes annoying on less than perfect roads! Is this normal??

My bet is on the nut where the steering rod connects to the other piece via clamp - easier to look and see than to describe
If memory serves right, it is for 13 mm spanner. Tightening the nut should get rid of the free play.

take off the plastic cover near the pedals, and the plastic ignition cover.

It's not only your tyres that can leave skid marks

Remove the plastic trim around the ignition. Retighten the bolts securing the rack to the frame...

the u/jiont is proberly worn where it connects to the rack.you need to get someone to inspect it whilst column moved up and down. easy to sort!
