Mounting depth for front speakers?

Could any1 give me the mounting depth for front door speakers? I need the exact distance from metal to the lowered window. I'm going to put in a set of 16 cm speakers, but I'll need wooden distanceers. That's why I need 2 know the distance - so I can make them in advance.
Since I don't wanna take everything appart before I'll put them in I need the max mounting depth. Thanks

Use 15mm thick MDF or whatever material you fancy and you'll be right.

Won't I have problems with the placing of door cards back on?

I used 15mm, finished them with a rim for the speaker to sit in tightly so no protrusion. It is snug, but the card goes on no problem. Its exact and you may have to adjust on the fly but thats part of the fun.
Will you be sound deadening?

There's a very high probability of that. Since I'll put on the front speakers 2x75 RMS, I think that would be a sane idea. Probably noise killer or someting similar.
