General MOT History

Hi People

When I recently purchased my 1.6 ELX, it was noted on the MOT certificate that an advisory noticed had been issued

Curious to know what it was, as OI didn't have a copy, I went onto DVLA's website to see if I could find out anything

Turns out that if you put in the certificate number and registration, you can actually view the previous MOT history, it gives information on what it failed on and any advisory's issued

You need the reg and either the current MOT but it's easier to use the document number of the V5.

By checking the MOT history you can see the mileage and dates of each MOT. Always interesting when a is MOT at 6 months left to run but has lost loads of miles
