Big thanks to Craig for helping sort out the central locking today, all working fine now. Cheers mate.

Next problem... the alarm has a remote start and immobiliser bypass function. In order to work one of the wires has to be connected to the negative terminal on the ignition coil. Simply enough if I knew how the hell the ignition system on the 1.8 works!! Anyone any ideas where I should be fitting the wire???

Chris

DON'T!!!! The ignition on the 1.8, or any of the bravos for that matter does not have a single ignition coil.

Your alarm sounds like it is for a much older car with a simple electrical immobiliser, it simply will not work on the bravo as the immob is integral to the ECU.

Trust me, do not mess with the ignition wiring.

Re: Re: More help needed!!

******! Cheers Tom, would it be worth taking it to Fiat and getting them to fit it? Or just not bother at all?
