Just spent ages repairing additive fault on the pat fluid tank, that is now fixed and the pump is pulsing using actuator tests in the snap on scanner

Today these popped up, i have already cleaned this dpf twice and when additive tank was repaired, i got plumes of smoke out exhaust getting another clean.

Question. What is best stuff to clean dpf on the vehicle or does it have to come off, also, the old data is still in the van so do i need reset dpf telling van its new?

If its too blocked, what next, must be some amazing chemical to use. Thxs

As I said on your other post, it wants coming off and cleaning properly or replacing.:)

Im getting very powerful blowing from exhaust it doesn’t make sense, does it need a dpf reset?

Just taken mine off - Doblo

1. Reverse flushed - Drain cleaner (50% water mix) and rinced with hose pipe until water was clean/clear of black stuff - Removes the Soot.
2. Reverse flushed - Cement cleaner (50% water mix) and rinced with hose pipe until water was clean/clear of brown ash - Removes the ash
3. Re-assembled + took for a run - No change to dash lights nor performance, but was only intended to get to working temp (above 70C)
4. Ran Multi-ECU - removed all faults that could be removed. (left with 2 that can only be removed by fitting running the new DPF fitted function.
5. Ran Multi-ECU - Special action - "new DPF fitted" - Took several attempts, to get it to work, but then it worked!
6. so, No dashboard lights, Start-stop now working!
7. Will wait a week or so and see what happens... wifey does a lot of local miles...Tankful of diesel a week!

Also - bought a cheap replacement DPF, that I have done the same thing with. Why? so that it is a simple swap next time around, as it takes a few hours to do the reverse flushing.

Hopefully concluding with this

Egr-valve recalibrated

fingers crossed lights off not been on for 3 days
