not seen one of these on the road in a long time . i am looking to buy the orange one on ebay at the moment with 47k on the clock seems a bit pricey tho . any ideas on price ?

looks really nice that one, it is silly money though... appears to be a dealer rather than private sale - try a hard stance haggle and see what happens. I wouldn't pay that much for one but it does look really really nice.

the price is around £3700 but he saidd he would move on the price . i was thinking around £2500

oh, maybe different one - one i was thinking was up for over £4k - did look like a brand new car though. £2.5k should get you a nice GT!!

the one on ebay is like a burnt orange colour . 47k 4 owners from new full service history no rust at all and never been messed with . totally standard .

I am sure the one on eBay was for sale about a month before and the guy said he would take around £2200 cash for it , I notice the plates have been removed so you can't tell if it's the same one but there can't be many with 47 thou and full service history .

i am gonna try and go and view the orange gt some time this week as it is only 25 mile away from me . he can only say no to my offer i suppose .

it will be a big change for me as my last two cars have been a 09 s3 and 2012 golf R . i drive a 64 plate audi a3 sline sportback at the moment but my wife as it for work most of the time . i had a few 5 turbos back in the 90s and see the punto gts as the same type of car . it would be a bit of fun at the weekends for me .

I would be happy to pay around £3000 for it if it looks as good close up , i wouldn't part with mine for less , I am sure there is only a few like it in this condition and they are only going to get less in years to come .

this is once in a lifetime, where you gonna find a 20 year old car with only 47k miles, if they are genuine that is
