mines is a kinda silvery colour , not sure how to take it out tbh , might give a bash , no problem mate

i love the look of the front fog lights on GPs , how hard is it to fit them if my cars only got the black covers ? and can u make them drls ?
Hey man.
My GP had black covers and i bought sporting fogs off a lad on here. For fitting them the hardest part is getting the old black covers off. Bit of brute force gets them out, they are stiff and reluctant to budge, but they do come out!
For fitting the fogs, simply offer them up into the hole and you'll see 3 mounting points. You won't have the bolts as you only have black covers, i got the correct bolts direct from my local fiat dealership. I just walked up to the chap on the parts counter and said i have a GP without fogs, and i have fogs to fit i just need the bolts. He came back 2 seconds later with 6 in his hand for me (£7). You can get them off eBay for about £2-3 apparently, for convenience i just went to my local dealer and had them same day. They screw straight in to the 3 mounting points on each side. Easy peasy.
As for wiring, i haven't done this yet. Mine are literally just for show, mine don't even have any bulbs in ha. You can get them wired in, quite simply i believe. You cannot, and i repeat, CANNOT wire them into the normal fog light switch and wiring loom. People have done so with nasty effects, so best avoid. Get them wired into the power supply and have a little flick on/off switch inside the car.
