I want to start modifying my car pretty soon, but i can't think of much i can do.

I want to leave the engine standard for now, and my sounds are good enough for the time being.

I am the process of doing some Photoshop/PSP pics, and i am looking for some feedback on what people think looks good, so i can then choose a look.

I have only done one so far, but i will post the rest as i do them.

Pic No1.
Lowered (alot lol), debadged all round, window tints, 4x3" exit exhaust, tinted rear lights, and tinted (from clear) indicators, delocked.

Personally, it is too extreme for me, but that's just my opinion.

For that style, I'd go for a brighter colour. I have white and I HATE it.

Re: Re: Modding Project...comments please

Girly car! :)

Why not cut the top off it and put an XR3i badge on the back? ;)

Re: Re: Re: Modding Project...comments please

I like it! :)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Modding Project...comments please

You need to have a bad bleach blonde perm as well.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Modding Project...comments please

Me and Martin have a plan, but we cant say what, except it may not be white for much longer...that should make you all happy...lol

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Modding Project...comments please

in my opinion, too low, looks like a citroen, and i don't like cars with no handles or side detail, i think it makes them look too bland. I like the tinted windows, the exhaust and the alloys. Just my opinion :)

hmn tasty yellow

i prefer the yello (love that colour) and it looks good, too low for my likeing looks wank but the smoothness looks good.

how do you do that in photoshop ? i have the software i ust have never used it, something i wouldent mind learning how to do, is there any guides or is it just bumble your way through and learn as you go ?

Re: hmn tasty yellow

Please tell me how you changed the color of your car...

Thats a wicked trick.

Think you should of left the handles on but paint them. How you going to open the bloody doors!!!!

Re: Re: hmn tasty yellow

Christian - Its easy as pie to colour in the car :)

And to open the doors you have something which as you press a button on your keyring a piston thingy opens it for you :)

Re: Re: Re: hmn tasty yellow

Easy as pie if you have a white car! Try colouring a dark car in a different colour. If someone manages to do it, please tell me how!

Re: Re: Re: Re: hmn tasty yellow

Might be just me, but it reminds me of a MKIII Astra GSi dunno why.

As for doing this in Photoshop have a look at
http://www.digimods.co.uk/

He does this to loads of cars, here's his take on the Stilo (sorry about the size !!!):

And he even gives tutorials on how to do it yourself... :)

Hmmmmm..........

Well I don't like Bravos in either white or yellow, so don't like the colour.
Also it's tooooo low (for me)
But I like the rest. I like the tints, I like the smoothness, very cool.

Italian cars have to be RED, it's the law ;)

That Stilo looks the mutt's, now if only Fiat would put a decent engine in it, like the 147 GTA lump, that would be nice :)

Re: Hmmmmm..........

Nah, you want the V6 out of the old 75 cloverleaf, the GTA has nothing on that!

Re: Hmmmmm..........

Lose the tints, there nothing but trouble, over time they break down, get scratched and end up looking ****!!

If you want low, why not fit hydros or air bags and be original as I cant imagine many Bravos have had them fitted.

Just my 2p worth!!!!

Re: Hmmmmm..........

I'd agree that Fiat's do look good in red but unfortunately due to the crap paints used these days they always end up pink!

At least we now know who the REAL hairdresser is. ;)

Also, here is the only way to make the Stilo look good:-

Re: Re: Re: Hmmmmm..........

With those light masks?!?!

Silver is not good on any car IMO. Silver is now the colour of choice for launching a model and as such has been done to death. Even the coppers are using silver to improve the resale value.

The Broom Yellow is not only the best colour for a Bravo but is the best Yellow I have seen.
