no probs
If ive worked it out right, is it just
jack car up
axle stands under
remove wheels
put spring decompressor
undo the 2 bolts at bottom of shock
that should then decompress
remove the top nut
then it should just come off??
then reverse with new spring and shock

Right............it took a few hours and some help from a mechanic i know but its done

it drives nicer aswell, apart from a knocking noise but thats to do with the boot install
Next step is a decent exhaust
full stainless with a stealth backbox and tailpipe

sorry i couldnt lend a hand, been fitting a shower all weekend and its still not bloody done as we sprung a leak

managed to reuse the old ones, ended up getting a mechanic i know to help out. Literally took an hour to do all 4 lol

Had some problems getting insurance sorted now due to the mod
Had to cancel my existing policy and get cover from another company
After a few quotes ive managed to find another company

Lol @ tris. What type of shower? Did i not tell you i used to fit bathrooms and kitchens for my dad?

still hoping that insurance goes thru ok, it gets cancelled at midnight and then the new one starts
speed bumps arent as bad as i thought tbh but im getting the arches rubbing on rear tyres
i need to sort that but think my only option is to sand the inside of teh arches a little
unless you can think of another way?

are your tyres 195 50 15's?
Ive not had chance to check where its catching yet but il get onto it at the weekend

erm, no 185 55 15.
why have you got a wider and shorter profile? not needed imo
nevertheless, still shouldnt rub. i know people running 17's on a 50mm drop and still fine!

as far as i knew, wider tyres meant a little better handling
and iirc they were cheaper in that size than the 185's
I could be wrong there tho

ripped out my bath in my en suite so making a stud wall etc... Pretty much sorted noq anyway, just tiling to do!
