Uno Mk2 Uno with a bit of TLC

Introduction

Just spent the last 4 hours giving my Little Uno a cut and polish using meguiars 3 stage polish. Brought it up an absolute treat! now she looks just as good as she goes :D :worship:
I like the abarth alloys, give it a fresh look, ya not quite as std looking and minty as fiat intended, but their fiat parts so not far off the mark. get them done in anthracite then you'd be rolling :slayer:  because in silver they are drawing more attention to themselves than they need, in anthracite, they wouldn't, but you would notice them, and like it every time you see the subtlely

Very cool, would love one of them. I'd say you scare a good few GT Turbo owners with that rocket.

Ya, thought they would be Ireland, we are hounded with the yokes a good 100 are over the 200bhp and there is about 10 getting close to the 300bhp mark.

Howy find the UNO to drive?? There is a still a fairly healthy race scene in Ireland with these cars seem to be fairly rapid with the N/A engines in them, so can only imagine what your car is like.

well I havent been on here for a while, here are a few updates to my little Uno.

Had the New intercooler fiited and also got my new wheels put on the other day.
anyway, here they are:

Wow i really have been slack on here lately!

The Dyno day was ages ago now!
She did well. I got 98Kw (about 130BHP in proper money) and that was running approx 13psi and with my 15" wheels on.
previously i think the power was up to 108Kw but that was with more boost and smaller 13" OE wheels.
I'm happy with the results thoguh. The IC made a difference too which was nice to see. The boost is now coming in about around 3250-3500RPM instead of nearer the 4000 mark previously. Much betetr drivability now.

Talking of all this boost, we had the fun job of changing the cluth plate on sunday. What a fricking mission! Also got the wheel bearing changed while we were at it.
Now all that is left to do is fix my drivers seat and replace the rear beam, then i think i'll slow down on the spending on it!
