So my factory fitted sub went pop yesterday, what can fit in there as a straight swap please?

Fair play. If you're looking round for cheap subs & amps I look on Facebook for the local area 'swap/sell' pages. Got my sub & amp for £30, much cheaper than most Ebay or Gumtree ads.

I want to put an upgraded one in the slot of the original using the original wire, is this possible as I like the way its out of the way
I like this idea, I'd really like a sub box that can easily be removed if I need the boot space.
So I can just plug in and out sorta thing.
Idont think the original Sub wiring wouid cope with a aftermaket amp,
if this is what you mean.

its the front door speakers that need upgrading on punto's not the sub..

find low mileage'd punto in scrappy yard with one in,
If its blown, take it apart and have a look? Then just replace it with a similar uprated one?
They are a special speaker mate,not like ordinary ones,
Ah ok, sorry lol.
OP you can get underseat active subs now that hide away quite nicely.
not sure what the output is like though.
