mk2 stock sub problem!

hi all, i have recently bought a second hand punto mk2, and it has that stock 100w sub in the boot. now im not big on wiring and i dont know a thing about it, but i was just wondering, is it possible to disconnect that sub and just use the cables there to go straight into another sub? is there a built in amp in the car somewhere that im missing? as it came with aftermarket 6x9s too. i have a couple of subs ready, 1 also has a built in amp in it.

i had a look at the wiring the other day, but the complete beginner that i am, i have no idea what im looking at. theres a ground, a hu, and power cable or so i think, but then theres other cables that look like they are going out to the speakers? does this mean that this sub has an amp in it? :bang: any help would be reallllllllly appreciated. i live in the leeds area if theres anyone about that could help me install my sub and amp?

No the wires arent meant to take the load of a much more powerful aftermarket set up.
The 6x9's probably work off the rear speaker outputs from the Head Unit.

ahh right, ok, thanks! guess that means i have to do all the wiring and stuff for an amp and sub from scratch.
