Technical Mk2 Glove box broken

My glove box is broken, i think that the spring or cable that attatches the handle to the lock is broken as i cant open my glove box, when i pull th handle there is no tention. Is there anyway of gettin in2 my glove box without using force or removing the dash??

Try using a screwdriver or something thin to pop the lock.
