I have a 91 1.4ie that was running along fine at 100 kp/h and then suddenly died. Now it is refusing to start. It is getting spark and fuel is getting to the injection but it won't start. If you poor fuel directly into the "carburetor" it will start and then it stops once that fuel has run out. I've pulled the spark plugs and they are dry.
Is there something basic that I am missing? This car is destined for an engine swap, so I am not too bothered if I can't get it going, but it would make it easier to move around the garage.
