Uno Mk1 Uno Turbo - low miles

here is a question for you all.
What would you prefer?
Three owners from new, full service history and 76,000 miles on the clock, oh, and full off tinworm?
or!
Nine careful owners from new, 67,000 on the clock and mint.
????????

The problem with Unos is that build quality was patchy. I've seen rot free 125K mile never been welded examples with many previous owners, and I've also seen low mileage (sub 70K) low owner examples that were rotting like crazy and needed extensive welding to make roadworthy. When buying a Uno the most important factor is the shell as if it resisted rot for the last 20 years it's likely to carry on resisting it (y) If it's rotting all over the place then it's probably rusting from the inside out...

Oh, and my mk1 1989 70SX has never needed welding. Mind you, it is a low mileage and a low owner car ;) Then again, my mk1 1986 45S has only ever need one tiny patch of welding and that had many owners and now has 105K on the clock. Find a good shell then invest in gallons and gallons of Waxoyl ;)
