The MAP sensor is just to the right of the black plastic air filter cover, it should be under a triangular plastic cover. Remove the 2 screws from the plastic cover then you will see a pipe going from the MAP sensor to the inlet manifold. The MAP sensor is held on by 3 nuts, simple 5 minute job to change... Just wish I had spotted the split before changing the lambda and water sensor.
 
well the map will be what was causing it to be waaay out. But i'm sure your car will be very happy with the service items..

It maybe worth checking the condition of any other vacuum lines (and just rubber pipes in general) and replace any suspect bits for nice new pipe.. They are afterall 15 years old by now so not surprising if a few have degraded.
