Styling mk1 punto clocks (lighting)

has anyone tried different colour bulbs in the clocks? which colours look good and which look bad?????

please give answers

I had the mk1 instrument cluster apart to replace a defective speedometer circuit. It's easy, and the bulbs are easily accessible to do the colour swap.
