General Mk1 Punto,Alfa Leather Seats

Just a quick question which i kinda need answered asap, will the leather interior from a 2001 3dr alfa 147 fit into my mk1 punto,i know for a fact it fits into the mk2 and mk2b without too much hassle,but mk1?

The 2001 Alfa 147 has the same body shell structure as a Mk2 Punto. Its not the same internally as the Mk1 Punto so it wont fit.

Easy - grab it and go. Apparently the back set needs a bracket making but otherwise it all fits. Get the door cards to finish the look.

If the 147 seats don't fit the mk1 punto can I fabricate a way to make them fit ?
And what about earlier models of alfa, say 145/146 will these seats fit ?
Or does anyone have another option for my wee punto ?

I have found a lovely pair of alfa 156 seats the rails measure up the same as the punto do I take the gamble and get them ??

right people am new tho this place but i figures id let yall know... you can actually get the alfa 147 seats in a mk1 punto, ive just done it. All you have to do is take the brackets off the bottom of the originall runners, take the 5 T40 bits out, then the brackets should come off. Two of the holes on the runners from the alfa seat runners line up, then you just need to make two little brackets for the other two holes, you'll get what i meen when you do it anyhu. I just done it today, the seats are super comfy, just a little bit high and its hard to change gear butt nvm comfort before practicality. ta
