What a fantastic forum, i have already sorted 2 problems out that i didnt think were problems thanks to you guys.
Ok im a little new to the DIY car thing, i know how to change the oil and so on but when it comes to getting parts for it i havent a clue where to start.
Basicaly the Flexable Exaust pipe from the Main Manifold pipe to the Cat pipe has a large (size of a 2p) hole in it and i want to replace it as cheep as possible, Cheep i here you say!!
Well in the last 2 years the following has gone wrong/been replaced:-
Drivers side Rear suspension arm £120
Main Exaust pipe (after cat) £120
Drivers side front shock £100 (have since found cheeper parts online)
Drivers side front CV boot £40
Passenger side wing mirror (bloody kids) £45
Clutch plate and Thrust bearing £120
Not to mention the £500 for fixing the passengers side wing after hitting a wall.
So money is tight.
I have a very good Mechanic who does all the work on the car and my girlfriends Corsa (just had her Head gasket replaced for £350) so getting the work done is not a problem.
just need to find somewhere cheep to buy the parts. All the local motor factors want £120+vat for the pipe
Any one got a clue?
