what a daft idea, as soon as the ipod changes shape or connector that slot is redundant, probably in about 12-24 months.

plus the vast majority of ipod owners arent old enough to buy a car.

mp3 playback on the headunit would have been much more useful for many more people.

scary thing is jug,that image shows the old nano.the present nanos are a totally different shape!

Not really seeing that the ipod fascia is interchangeable to suit the device. Well mine is anyway. Have them out there already with different i-pods.

I will plug a new nano in tomorrow and see if it works with the Pioneer adapter. Don't want to be buying a new one of those with every update.
