Shefield isn't far at all. Elvaston Castle is just outside of derby so a quick blast down the M1/a38 and youre not far off.

If your thinking of public transport, I imagine there will be a direct train from Shefield to Derby and then possibly a bus from the station to somewhere nearby or you may have to get a taxi.

Prefer if you add yourself and fill in your details before turning up, but there will be blank stand passes available so if you won't know until the last minute that's fine too
