Technical Missing underbelly frame part

Good day

A few weeks ago I had a Punto given to us from the other half. Whilst driving a long the road a bit of a bang occurred. Unfortunately could not stop.

Anyway, once I did safely I opened up the bonnet and there seems to be a missing bit of the frame near the front passenger wheel. I am no car man, so haven’t a clue to what I need to search for on the forum.

Could anyone please name the missing part on the photographs so that I can get my hands on it and get the screwdriver out?

There isn't an undertray on any Puntos besides the 1.9 diesels so you aren't missing a tray. Doesn't seem to be anything missing to me, then again I have a 1.9

Oh ok. Thank you for the reply.

It must have been something else. There is a rattle under the hood since the bang so will have to investigate further.

Compare with the wheel arch area on the Right hand side..

the big black plastic parts should be very similar on both sides
