On my way to work this morning the car started to misfire.

This is the third time since i got the car its had to have an injector replaced.

How easy is it to replace the injector? I have done a quick search but cant find anything.

If its easy enough then i will do it myslef.

Any info would be appreciated!

Or anyone who can do who lives near Oswestry please help :p

You can do it without taking off the manifold but you have to 'slacken' it off, there are a few awkward nuts/bolts to get to but nothing too bad, sure there is a hidden bolt behind oil filler cap.
Problem is loosening off the injector rail (2 bolts retain it) but as yours has been off before it should pull away quite easily. All your looking for is enough room so you can lift the rail up to remove/replace injector. The injector is retained to rail via a clip, spare clip comes with new injector incase you loose it...I always do
Make sure the injectors are 'seated' right when you refit the rail & quick check for fuel leaks afterwards, techs time for job is 0.6,about 35mins.

Forgot, you need torx bit (No40 from memory) otherwise its just 8/10 & 13mm socket & extensions.

A highly detailed answer in 11 minutes!
Thanks T14086, I have a feeling that I might be helping sammi with this :p

driving it with an injector failure will cook the plug and eventually the lead on that cylinder, but its ok to drive for a while till you get it replaced.

as T14086 said its really easy. 35 minutes if your careful. i usually slide the fuel rail out completely to the right and remove it, however this requires both the supply and return fuel pipes to be disconnected (from the back left under manifold), although its still easy to do. my hands are too fat to replace an injector without removing the fuel rail, plus i prefer to inspect all the rubber sealing rings because a bad or missing one will cause problems. if one appears to be missing check in the hole on the head where the injector was sitting, they often stick in there.
