General middle seatbelt is stuck help ;(

hi im new to this but i have a fiat stilo and basically whats happened is ive had my seats folded and i went to push them back up today and the middle seatbelt is now stuck and wont let me push the seat back up as its really tight it looks like the plastic bolt thats on the seatbelt itself has got wedged into the slot where the seatbelt moves up and down HELP!!! does anyone now a way to sort this out?

You need to fold the seat down again and slam it pretty hard to get it to lock back into place properly. Then the belt should move freely again.

DONT DO THAT ^

not ever....ull break it cos of the tension...

unbolt the middle seat belt (the same place the backrest bolts on) so its not being pulled tight.

then return the seat back to the upright position (red indicator in top right should go black) then the mech inside the seat is disabled. ull need to pull it pretty hard if the plastic stop on the belt has gone inside...but once its out ure home free....bolt belt back down nd keep it "plugged in" to avoid the problem in the future (ie as if ure carrying an imaginary passenger in the middle rear seat)

if your mechanism is broken, i have a back seat back rest in good condition on its was to the skip if you want it.

oh thanks so much, i unbolted the seatbelt and it worked yey!! yes it was the plastic thing that was stuck i gave it a good tug and it came free, thank god i was panicking abit thinking it was gonna cost aload of money to get fixed. but i now have my backseats back to normal again panic over thanks once again.
