Any ideas.. i was thinking comps under the seats or something similar.. im fine for bass.. just want something to fill the middle out a bit.

Looking to buy an amp and speakers.. and ideas on where to put them! are 4" Comps anygood for this?

the mids would be better aiming at you, so mids under the seats isnt too gooda idea. The amp will sit happilly there tho :) You could always make some custom footwell pods, but the cinq footwells are cramped enough as is.

Components would be your best bet for sound quality over coaxials (y)

Dont know if you saw my other post a week ago, but i put some 13 cm infinity speakers in my door cards. If you tka ethem off, there is a hole just big enough and deep enoughjust above the handle and to the side of the door release. And no the window doesnt catch. Fills the sound out nicely, and 13cm components are always a better option that 4" comps. ;) Will get some pics up eventually.

i like that idea of 13cm comps. pics and as much info as poss would be nice.

wiring wise.. i have a 4awg power and earth supply to the under the seat (just in case!)

I'll see what i can do and get some pics put up on this thread. (y) I covered the original door card in acoustic cloth and the strength is actually perfectly fine. :D Dont know whether infinities have small mounting depths or smaller magnets than any other brands, but wouldnt have thought so. Its close but it definately doesnt touch the window, etc. (y)

Infinity are about normal :) Blaupunct (SP?) do a shallow chassis series which would be more ideal. But if normal ones dont foul the window, then no point in paying extra for slim chassis speakers :)
